Adam Craker
CEO, IQbusiness
Adam is the Chief Executive Officer at IQbusiness, the largest independent management consulting firm in South Africa. Adam joined IQbusiness in September 2009 and was appointed CEO in November 2010.
He is an ardent lobbyist for government and business collaboration, though he places the emphasis on education as the key ingredient to drive an inclusive future for all South Africans.
Adam has forged strong partnerships between IQbusiness and various NGOs and social enterprises, such as SmartStart, Tomorrow Trust, Harambee and Partners for Possibility, to act as catalysts for positive trends in education. Some of his other major milestones in terms of encouraging shared prosperity for all; includes the creation of the GROWTH.co.za forum and accompanying annual research report that identifies 5 key pillars for growth.
Under Adam’s leadership, IQbusiness has won the coveted 2018 Conscious Companies Award. IQbusiness is making a positive impact in ESD and other areas, with Adam’s “End the #NationalShutUp” Campaign; his work with the Presidential CEO Initiative; and the establishment of the National Mentorship Movement. Recognition of IQbusiness as a Certified B Corporation, positions Adam and his team as leaders in a new social narrative.

Cynthia Schoeman
MD, Ethics Monitor
Cynthia Schoeman is the Managing Director of Ethics Monitoring & Management Services (Pty) Ltd, it was started by Cynthia in 2010 to promote the proactive management of workplace ethics and to provide practical support to organisations to improve and more effectively manage their ethics. Its services and products are based on more than 16 years of research, development, lectures and workshops in the field of workplace ethics.
She strives to improve ethics in the public and private sector organisations as well as promote managing ethics proactively by building a critical mass of people who are committed to ethics and by enabling them to make a significant difference.
Dudu Msomi
CEO, Busara Leadership Partners
Dudu Msomi is the Founder and CEO of Busara Leadership Partners, a research-orientated strategic advisory and consulting company whose expertise is to facilitate the development and effectiveness of individuals to achieve their desired goals. Dudu is an expert generalist which affords her the ability to strike the right balance between depth and breadth of knowledge to be an effective strategist and facilitator for clients see the possibilities, have the courage and the knowledge to do the right things, the first time.
Msomi is a Strategy Facilitator, Corporate Governance and Leadership Expert, Leadership Coach, Diversity & Inclusion Strategist and Facilitator, Keynote & Guest Speaker and Writer. She designs and delivers bespoke leadership, board and entrepreneurs development programmes. Msomi was awarded the 2013 Laureate Award by the University of Pretoria as a GIBS Alumnus to honour her outstanding contribution to the field of leadership development, strategy and governance and recognised by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the Top 30 Influential South African Business Leaders in 2018. Dudu Msomi was selected by the US Consulate in South Africa as a mentee on the FORTUNE/US State Department Global Women Leaders in 2010 and on the Cherie Blair Foundation in 2015.
Dudu Msomi has a B.A. Hons. (University of Natal, Durban); Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising and Marketing (AAA School of Advertising); Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Governance (RAU); Programme for Management Development (GIBS) and a Masters in Business Administration (GIBS).
Dudu Msomi is an Institute of Director’s (IOD) Fellow. Msomi is an independent non-executive on the Bankserv Africa and on Vodacom Foundation Advisory boards. Dudu chairs the Social & Ethics Committee of Bankserv Africa and is a member of the Nomination Committee. She is also on the Audit, HR and Remuneration Committees of FAIS OMBUD, Office of the Pension Fund Adjudicator (OPFA) and Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). Dudu Msomi is a Trustee on the Humulani Trust (Invicta Holdings) and a member of the GIBS MBA Alumni Bursary Committee.
Hamilton Ratshefola
General Manager, IBM Southern Africa
Hamilton Ratshefola is the General Manager of IBM Southern Africa. He rejoined IBM in 2013 as a Sales Director for IBM South Africa. He was later appointed Country General Manager for South Africa in June 2015. In January 2019 Hamilton was given responsibility for 13 more countries in Southern Africa, and assumed responsibility as IBM General Manager for
the region.
Prior to re-joining IBM, Hamilton was co-founder of Cornastone Technology Holdings (Pty) limited, of which he as CEO for 13 years from 2000 to 2012. Cornastone as a local systems integrator with over 300 employees at its peak and had investments companies.
Prior to starting Cornastone, Hamilton was an IBM employee for 10 years, starting his career as an IBM Systems Engineer, when he moved to Sales, and became an IBM executive, Sales Director.

Manoj Dayal Chiba
Dr Manoj Dayal Chiba is a management professional & has held senior positions in different sectors, with a deep technical & management expertise in data and technology, with over 14 years of experience. This experience has allowed him to draw on the relevant understanding to exploit opportunities & align strategies. His training, qualifications & passion for data & the intersection with technology drive his underlying philosophy for evidence based decision-making, and the underlying impact on the future of business and society. He has a depth of understanding on all things data, digitisation, artificial intelligence and innovation, with the intersection of these fields providing his unique philosophy for understanding the future and what it means for business and society.
Some of his work includes: Re-imagining business models underpinned by technology; data science, serving as a data scientist; building data science capabilities and operationalising this capability sustainably within organisations of varying sizes; strategy and structure consulting work; price-setting strategies for organisations; market share analysis; SME for legal cases and innovation consulting. He has consulted to over 62 companies locally and globally, with hands-on experience in over 10 African countries and serves as a non-executive director for two organisations. He also has a deep passion and spends a considerable time working with youth, education, and developing the youth in South Africa.
At GIBS Manoj is a Senior Lecturer and Faculty member, lecturing research, statistics, predictive analytics, digitisation, intersection of business, society and technology, artificial intelligence and lead faculty for innovation and design. He also supervises MBA and PhD theses in the fields of: International business strategy and structure; Data and strategy; Digital Business models; and innovation.
Manoj has the following qualifications: BSc (WITS); BSc (Hon) (WITS); MSc (WITS); MBA (GIBS); PhD (GIBS); Certificate: Strategies for winning in disruptive times; Certificate in International Business; and Certificate in the Economics of International Business.
He is member of the Golden Key International Honours Society; and has received numerous awards from 1995 for Mathematics and was awarded ABIC Scholarship for African Scientist in 2009. He was also nominated for the Joe Variava Bioethics medal. He was a Council Member for the Royal Society of South Africa and a member as well.
Theesan Moodley
He started at Sanlam in the contact centre in 2000 quickly progressing to Operations Manager. He later joined Broker Distribution as a Regional Manager, turning a little-known and struggling unit in the southern suburbs from dead last to first in the country in one year. By 2013, he was the Head of Sanlam Direct, where he continued to enjoy success, with a record-breaking year in 2015. He has since continued to go from strength of strength, taking the reigns as General Manager of Sanlam Financial Advisers in August 2016. In 2019, he became General Manager, SPF Distribution, overseeing both the tied and independent intermediary channels.
He describes the perspectives he has gleaned through this journey as valuable beyond measure and attributes his success to the individuals and teams who have supported him.
